Task 2: A working log - Colour Call
This is the original colour call. When we added the gels, it was clear that we would not have enough of the 117. To compensate, we used 2 201s. The colours were mainly blue and yellow to create a night - day effect in the woods.
Task 2: A working log

For the above lighting plan for The Woods set, we rigged as accurately as possible to meet the requests of the lighting designer. However we later realised we did not have enough minuette fresnels to complete the plan. To overcome this we used profiles and reaaranged a few fresnels to provide a good general wash. This also prevented patches on the stage.

Task 2: A working log - Cue sheet
This is a sample of the cue sheet I used for Behind Closed Doors, the drama exam I operated the lights for. I wrote in when the cue was by listening for the performer's line, for example, when someone yelled 'please!' I knew to press Go. I also added a short description so I knew exactly when to press. This worked well because if the same line was repeated, I felt confident pressing Go at the correct time. If there was a fade, usually it was 5-10seconds, then I would write that in the 'fade time' box. My notes were organised which was very important because I could read them clearly.
